Orrest Head is the perfect walk from the door step with stunning views without the strenuous hike. Starting just a short stroll from the Windermere Hotel, the gentle ascent through Elleray Wood takes about twenty minutes.
Once you reach the summit, the breathtaking 360-degree views of Windermere the surrounding fells will leave you in awe, with landmarks like the Old Man of Coniston and Scafell Pike clearly visible.
