BRANT FELL
Discover the beauty of Brant Fell, a modest 192m ascent that offers breathtaking views over Windermere and the surrounding fells. Starting just off the main high street in Bowness on Brantfell Road, this walk is accessible without the need for climbing gear. As you make your way through the open grassland, you’ll find a small stone marking the beginning or end of the 81-mile Dales Way. Continue through the woodland to Post Knott, where a bench awaits for a well-deserved rest, before winding your way to the summit to soak in the stunning vistas, including the enchanting Grizedale Forest.
